DATACAST® Classic is a group of general interest
information services. The categories of service are fixed, like the sections
of your newspaper. With DATACAST® Classic, you
are always informed by concise and timely information updates, delivered
at regular intervals.
DATACAST® Classic is included with your pager
by your paging provider.
DATACAST® Classic updates arrive silently on your
wireless device in a separate folder. Your paging provider
selects which DATACAST®
Classic categories are available to you on your wireless device. They also
specify their geographic areas for local information -- such as Local Lottery,
Local Weather, Local News, and Local Sports.
